AGM Statement

At the Annual General Meeting today, the Chairman, Philip Rogerson, will report that, as previously indicated, the Board expects that the business will make progress in 2006 compared with 2005.
Trading in the first quarter has been very strong in both North America and Aggreko International. In North America, base business continues to grow, and, as previously announced, our International Power Projects business has recently secured two major contracts in the Yemen and Kenya. Our Local businesses in the Middle East, Asia, Australia and South America are all performing well. In Europe, trading in the first quarter has been mixed. Northern Europe (UK, Ireland and Nordics) has had a weak first quarter; however, the performance of Continental Europe has improved noticeably over the prior year.
Overall, we have made a good start to the year.
